Founded in 2024, BantuHive emerged from the recognition that Ghana's entrepreneurial ecosystem needed a platform that could bridge the gap between innovative ideas and accessible funding. We saw talented entrepreneurs struggling to access capital while potential investors lacked easy ways to discover and support promising ventures.
Today, we're proud to be Ghana's leading platform for democratic investment, enabling anyone to participate in building the country's economic future through our innovative three-tier funding model.

Why we started?
Across Africa and its global diaspora, countless changemakers see problems they want to solve — but lack the capital to get started. We built BantuHive to change that. Our platform empowers individuals and communities to raise funds, attract micro-investments, and build a support base around their ideas. Whether it's launching a high-impact startup or funding a grassroots project, BantuHive enables co-ownership and community-driven growth — making it easier than ever to back the future of Africa, together.
Why we started?
A milestone in our journey
First Platform Launch
After months of development and user testing, we launched the first version of Bantu Hive. Our initial platform focused on community-driven campaigns that addressed local social issues. Within the first 3 months, we facilitated funding for 30 grassroots campaigns across 3 cities in Ghana.

Within these same months, BantuHive got selected to participate in the prestigious Tony Elumelu Entreprenuership Programme, which provided us with $5000 grant, mentorship and resources to scale our impact.

We launched our partnership program to bring together corporations, nonprofits, and community organizations. This collaborative approach has created a powerful network of change-makers, with over 6 partner organizations joining in the first year and collectively raising over $10 thousand for various causes.
